It's our second time in this cozy room and it is by far better than the
first because we are celebrating our first year anniversary. You can't help
but fall in love all over again when you get away from all the hustle and
bustle of everyday life and escape to God's Country. I wish everyone peace
and well being and I especially wish my husband Happy Anniversary w/ many,
many more!!
I Love You,
Mrs Rebecca Taylor
The nest is empty
The birds have flown
But we will be back.
The seed has been sown.
The snow has now melted
The sun shines through
Flowers are in their glory
Mt Rainier is in view.
We must depart now
Back to duties and the rest.
We take with us our memories
of the peaceful Bird's Nest.
Mahalo!

Thanks for having this great place. You all are so warm & friendly and now
we know that it's because God's spirit is evident! We've really enjoyed the
beautiful area and we appreciated all the advise on hiking trails. The hot
tub was great after a 5 mile hike.
Thanks again & God Bless

What a perfect place to rest for Vivian's first trip to Mt Rainier. We
envisioned hitting the hot tub every hour, but one dip at 7pm seemed to do
the trick. Enjoyed a drink in town conversing with the" locals". Always saw
this place heading up to" the Mountain" in the past, but had no idea how
serene and relaxing this hideaway could be! Actually made reservations via
the internet and glad we could find you online. Logging this journal in bed
at the moment and finding it hard to get UP. Beautiful -----145 & wonderful
appointments! As usual "the Mountain" was not visible, but we enjoyed the
heavy snow & white knuckled trip down from Paradise. Keep up the great
hospitality & charming confines.
Ciao!

Our third time here - how we love it! And Tanna your hospitality & gifts
for decorating are so appreciated - you even know where the best flowers are
blooming on the mountain! It's our 21 summer here - our kids are grown &
gone now (they were 2 & 4 the first summer) and every trail brings back
memories of climbing and hiking as a family. Mt Rainier is like our 5th
family member! Now, in our sixth decade of life we are beginning to enjoy
the chairs at Longmire's porch & watching the sun go down.
Thanks for helping make summer memories that linger forever!
